You’re running around frantically, trying to figure out how something so crazy could happen to you and your search for answers is empty. Sweat is pouring down your face, heart racing, deep, heavy breathing then boom! You awaken to realize it’s a dream.
If you’re like me, you’ll be excited to know it was only a dream then research the meaning of it. I’ll use dreammoods.com and their interpretations connect the dream activities to how it relates to the happenings in our living world.
With this in mind, I had a bit of a realization the other day while experiencing a situation in business that happened to me before. Once a present moment becomes past is invariably a dream. Think about it, things happen whether in our conscious or subconscious worlds, we learn what it means, then we take that meaning to create a better place for ourselves. In both worlds, they’re points in time that we’ll never get back, but we may live through similar experiences again, except this time we’re a bit more prepared.
It’s a great realization to have because it allows us to set ourselves in the present moment, instead of driving ourselves crazy trying to relive the past like it would change things. Like a dream, it’s impossible, the past is no longer real once it’s occurred, the effects of living through it might be, but those effects are what allows us to be better people and stay in the moment.
